This morning I had trouble getting out of bed.
Most mornings I jump out of bed around 5:50 – 6:10.
Not this morning.
I was lying in bed and didn’t want to get up.
I started feeling overwhelmed with what I wasn’t getting done.
I was feeling anxious.
I didn’t change anything, I just continued feeling sorry for myself.
What do you do when you find yourself stuck in a story that’s not true?
I had to find a way to get un-stuck.
Fortunately I have a tool I use that helps me to see if the stories I’m telling myself are true.
My story this morning was that my day would be off track.
I started journaling and realized I had only lost about 45 minutes that could be moved to the evening.
I was causing myself stress because I was believing a lie.
